WHERE HAVE YOU GONE, CAPTAIN AMERICA? A NATION TURNS ITS LONELY EYES TO YOU… It's good to see so many stand in protest of what they feel to be wrong, but our eyes should not lose sight of the bigger picture. The 'Powers That Be' are fond of parlour tricks, slight of hand & distractions, & personally, I feel there's something more significant on the horizon... Or, to paraphrase the #jedi #quigonjinn "There's something bigger behind all this..." As the political saying goes, "There are no permanent friends, no permanent enemies, only permanent interests". Once you understand that, things tend to become a lot clearer. We need to get away from the ‘us vs them’ scenario that's taking place on a grassroots level. Divide & conquer, anyone? Yes, things are escalating, but there will be no claxons, sirens or starting pistols. Why? Because the next World War has already begun... Just sayin’.
CHADWICK BOSEMAN: THE BLACK PANTHER LIVES! He IS a legend, a King, a god. May he serve as an inspiration to all, regardless of gender, religious or cultural affiliation. The key to our salvation, freedom & liberation lies within us, NOT in the hands of those who oppose, oppress or hold us back. The time to stop begging is NOW! Do your research into world history, past, present & future perceptions. Tell me one tale of liberation that was initiated by the oppressor, be they individual, group, organisation or government...??
I WON’T BE SILENCED! Since I'd planned to do this one both on & for 'International Women's Day', or, as @heyimsakina so rightly pointed out, 'JOURNÉE INTERNATIONAL DES DROITS DES FEMMES', which, when translated from the French is, 'INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S RIGHTS DAY' - which is much more appropriate in terms of what the day is about. Still, that's for women to decide, not me.
